What Personal Data Yamasa may collect from you

International transfer of personal data

Please note that your personal data referenced above may be transferred to, and stored at countries outside of the European Economic Area whose laws may not provide the same level of data protection. In such cases, we will ensure that there are adequate safeguards in place to protect your personal data that comply with our legal obligations. The adequate safeguard might be a data transfer agreement with the recipient based on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission for transfers of personal data to third countries. A copy of the standard contractual clauses could be requested at our managing director.

 

Retention period

All Yamasa personnel and the third parties which process your personal data in behalf of Yamasa are obliged to respect the confidentiality of your personal data.

In particular, you have the right to request access, correct and delete your personal data which we hold, as well as the right to restrict or object to certain types of processing of your personal data. Furthermore, you have the right to data portability. If the processing relies on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

If you feel that Yamasa has not responded to your requests and have handled your personal data unlawfully, you have the right to submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (“Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens”)

 

Contractual or statutory obligation

The provision of personal data is not a statutory or contractual requirement, or a requirement necessary to enter into a contract. However, Yamasa reserves the right to reduce or terminate a contractual relation with you in case that you are not willing to provide the necessary personal data for the execution of an agreement. Please also note that Yamasa will not make use of automated decision-making on the basis of the personal data we collect from you.

 

Children

Yamasa does not knowingly collect personal data from persons under the age of 16. If you are a parent of a child under 16, we will seek your consent if you wish your child to provide his or her personal data to Yamasa.
